These are the pictures that will feature in my magazine and connotes what the magazine is about and its house style
N: The picture is slightly blurry but is still eligible and usable
P: I feel the colours has connotations of outdoors and the shiny grey steel has connotations of Sheffield's heritage and draws a contrast against the two types of locations.
These are the shapes that I made that to mount my text on my pages
Positives: These text boards effectively connote the nature of the magazine through the use of colours i.e. green connotes nature and wild life and yellow connotes danger and sunshine etc.
Negatives on the edges of some of boards are rough to appear torn although this is a good effect and connoted rouged ness it appears untidy.
Positives: The shapes offer a certain diversity and work well as banners to accompany the text and makes the text easier to read
They break up the page to denote different sections
Negatives:
The shapes are not completely perpendicular and at slightly wonky and needs fixing
and I could do with adding some more
The bottom text board would need altering as the pictures are not my own
