P:This picture connotes teamwork and comradery that is common in the Duke of Edinburg's Award

P: The picture connotes happiness and excitement.

P: The low angle of this picture and prominent stance connotes power

P: This group shot connotes team work

P: This picture has a shallow depth of field to draw attention to the interviewee.

P: This picture of the peak of mam tor ads meaning to the article of the walk that takes you to the top

P : The pose with hands on hips, which connotes power, the costume and location has good Mise en scene and gives meaning to the image
P: This picture effectively denotes the navigation that takes place on DofE
P: This long shot encapsulates the what DofE participants endure when out on expedition.
This is my final masthead for my magazine,
P: I feel the colours has connotations of outdoors and the shiny grey steel has connotations of Sheffield's heritage and draws a contrast against the two types of locations.

These are the shapes that I made that to mount my text on my pages

Positives: These text boards effectively connote the nature of the magazine through the use of colours i.e. green connotes nature and wild life and yellow connotes danger and sunshine etc.

Negatives  on the edges of some of boards are rough to appear torn although this is a good effect and connoted rouged ness it appears untidy.
Positives:

The shapes offer a certain diversity and work well as banners to accompany the text and makes the text easier to read

They break up the page to denote different sections

Negatives:

The shapes are not completely perpendicular and at slightly wonky and needs fixing
and I could do with adding some more

The bottom text board would need altering as the pictures are not my own
